The Ranking List of <China's Enterprises' Innovation Capabilities> was created by the Enterprise Innovation Research Group of Renmin University of China in 2017. The annual evaluation of the innovation capabilities of all high-tech enterprises in China, which is fully covered and comprehensive, is currently the largest and most up-to-date ranking of enterprise innovation capabilities in China.
It is reported that this year's ranking has four distinct features. Firstly, it has a wide coverage, achieving full coverage of all high-tech enterprises in China. In 2017, the number of enterprises covered by the ranking was over 80000, which increased to over 100000 in 2018 and further increased to over 150000 in 2019. Secondly, the evaluation indicators are variable, including not only the quantity and quality of patents, but also indicators such as innovation value diffusion and innovation network promotion. Thirdly, the concept is innovative, using multiple digital technologies such as big data and web crawlers to accurately extract indicators such as trademarks and network popularity. Fourthly, the basic data is detailed and reliable, and the ranking is based on the<China Enterprise Innovation Capability Database>, with comprehensive and reliable basic data as support.
Compared with 2017 and 2018, the 2019 ranking not only covers a significant increase in the number of companies, but also updates and improves the indicator system and algorithm. On this basis, the research group ranked the top 100, top 1000 and top 10000 high-tech enterprises in China, and produced the corresponding list, which is now officially released.
